Gympie's gay pride shines

CELEBRATE everything “so divine” about being alive at the third Shine event held at the Shaft Nightclub this Saturday night.

Shine is a regular local event organised for gays, lesbians and friends. It's been a year since the very first pride celebration and the girls and guys are ready to party.

Drag queen Taylor Ette is part of a fantastic line-up of entertainment ready to go.

“I can't wait to come back to see all the beautiful people I met at the last Shine,” she gushed.

“The nightclub is amazing. So spacey with a really good stage. I was quite surprised the first time I came into Gympie. Everyone should come out and have a cheeky drink or two and just relax,” Taylor Ette invited.

Kicking the night off at 7.30pm is a live performance by outstanding vocalist Luella.

This will be followed by a dance show at 9pm and then two Queen shows and two King shows to keep everyone entertained. Then DJ BCHN will have you dancing the night away.

So go on, go out and support Gympie's gay community . It will be a night not to be missed. Fantastic prizes to be won. Entry is $10, doors open at 7pm.
