Gympie High reunion for class of 76-80

"STILL the same but much better" is how a group of former students organising a reunion of the class of 1976-1980 are seeing themselves and each other as they revisit past friendships.

A group of past students is organising a reunion for the last year of Year 8 students to start at Gympie State High School in 1976 before James Nash State High School began.

About 300 students who went from Year 8 who stayed at Gympie High to graduate Year 12 in 1980 were invited to the reunion. The weekend of August 3 is set for the gathering, which will start with a morning tea at the high school. Barefoot bowls and dinner at the bowls club will finish the day. Anyone who knows a 1976-1980 Gympie High student is asked to pass on news of the reunion.

They can make contact via Facebook or phone Anette on 5486 1136.
