Grab a book bargain at the library

EVERYONE likes a good read.

As well as there being plenty of material available to borrow in Gympie Library, there is a range of books for sale.

Each year in March the Friends of the Library group has a book sale, when hundreds of books go out the door for $1.

However the books are building up and the group needs to get rid of stock. As a result, a mini book sale will be held before Christmas. It will be held on December 9 from 10am until 2pm. A sale was also held in November.

Friends of the Library members help library staff in a variety of ways.

They deliver books and DVDs to home-bound library members.

The community group is always looking forward to receiving new members.

Anyone interested in joining the group should drop into the library and talk with staff. If you love to read fantasy or fact, then you may well find a bargain at the book sale.
