Girl injured jumping from moving car

EMERGENCY service workers rushed to the corner of Lillis and Cootharaba Rds in Gympie yesterday morning after a teenaged girl leapt from a moving car and received several injuries.

The 15-year-old was treated at the scene shortly after 7.30am for head injuries, suspected neck injuries and a cut foot, before being taken by ambulance to the Gympie Hospital.
