Garage sale fundraiser

IF YOU like Little Haven's Pop-Up Op Shop, you'll love its Monster Garage Sale.

The sale is just like the op shop but bigger, brighter and only available for one weekend - Saturday and Sunday, March 3-4, at 101a Stumm Rd, Gympie.

As well as the expected wide choice of top quality plants, fruit and vegetables, baking, preserves, clothes, craft, books and bric-a-brac, a huge range of donated furniture and goods and equipment surplus to Little Haven's requirements will be on offer.

The Little Haven volunteers, known affectionately as the "marketeers", are planning to open another Pop-Up Op Shop for a busy three weeks from April 30 to May 20.

If you have any unwanted goods they can sell, the marketeers would be glad to hear from you. Both the Little Haven Monster Garage Sale and Little Haven Pop-Up Op-Shop help raise much-needed funds to support Little Haven Palliative Care to allow them to continue their vital work in the Cooloola/Sunshine Coast community.

Little Haven covers a 3000sq km area and provides 24-hour specialist home-care nursing, equipment loans and bereavement support free to its palliative care clients.

If you would like to check out a bargain, make a note of the dates: Saturday, March 3 for the Monster Garage Sale at 101a Stumm Rd, then April 30 for the opening of another Little Haven Pop-Up Op-Shop.
