Former Gympie student to return

FORMER Gympie High School student Greg Nash will return to his stomping ground tonight in his capacity as Dr Nash, program coordinator of the University of the Sunshine Coast's Bachelor of Communication.

Dr Nash will be in town for the university's information session at the Civic Centre between 5.30pm and 7pm.

People interested in furthering their education are invited to come along to speak one-on-one with Dr Nash and other university lecturers and staff about the range of courses on offer.

Discover how university is still an option if you don't meet the formal admission requirements. Successful completion of four Tertiary Preparation Pathway courses gives you entry into most USC degree programs.

TPP is offered at several locations including Gympie.

A lecturer in Communication, Dr Nash began his undergraduate degree in January 2002 at the University of the Sunshine Coast and started teaching in 2005 at the commencement of his Honours degree. He has a keen interest in the experience of first year students and those returning to study from the workforce.
