SATURDAY JUNE 11:

THIS year the Wide Bay Small Bore Rifle Championships will be held on June 11 and 12 from 8am - 2pm.

Spectators are welcome and it won't cost a cent to watch the shooters in action at the Gympie Small Bore Rifle and Silhouette Club at 63 Banks Pocket Road, Araluen.

Events will include Silhouette, Prone and Bench-rest.

SATURDAY JUNE 11:

SATURDAYS in June have just got a whole lot better.

Just for kids kicks off at the Gympie Library in June.

Visit the Gympie Library to take part in some fun and free activities for kids.

Story time for 0- 5 year olds starts at 9.30am.

Bring your child and take part in the First5Forever story time.

This is an interactive program for preschool children and babies featuring songs, rhymes, stories and craft. Dads and grandparents are also welcome.

And at 10.30am the Ozobots for 5 -10 year olds are on the loose. Learn how to program these robots to take part in some fun challenges. Spaces are limited and bookings are essential for Ozobots.

SATURDAY JUNE 11:

BOQ Broncos Charity Golf Day is on at the Gympie Golf Club in Shields St,

This is an annual fundraiser in aid of Little Haven Palliative Care and Gympie Junior Development Program.

Play will be in the three person Ambrose format in playing groups of six (2 Teams).

Come along and meet Broncos Players Matt Gillett, Corey Oates, Lachlan Maranta and Jack Reed.

Individual Player Registration is $65 per player which includes snacks on the course, 18 holes golf, Entry in the Hole in One challenge for a $10,000 prize and a two course dinner.

There'll also be great prizes and a silent auction.

Registration is from 11am for shotgun start at 12 Noon.

HEAD to the Dagun Growers Market for the freshest local food at Dagun Heritage Railway Station from 3pm.

Talk to the growers and buy our regional varied fruit and vegetables.

Enjoy wine and cheese tasting too.

The Dagun Growers Market is on every Saturday afternoon.

STEP back in Queensland Time for the Vintage Machinery Market and Swap Day.

Come and see history at work at the Wolvi and District Memorial Hall Grounds on the corner of Kin Kin and Tagigan Roads at Wolvi all for the cost of a gold coin donation.

There'll be a variety of stalls and displays, live bands, hot food and cold drinks. The Bar opens from 12noon.

Dinner is available as is breakfast Saturday and Sunday with camping available.

Market stalls wanted.
