First pictures of Obara Sand in Game of Thrones
THE first pictures of Keisha Castle-Hughes in Game of Thrones have been revealed in a behind-the-scenes video about The Weapons of Dorne.
The YouTube clip explains how the show's weapons are made, with commentary from the series' weapons master Tommy Dunne.
The Whale Rider actress plays Oberyn's eldest daughter, Obara Sand, and can be seen sporting a high-necked leather breastplate.
Earlier this year, the actress spoke to the Sunday Star Times about her role.
"I think people are going to be really blown away by the Sand Snakes, there's three of us and we're Oberyn's daughters," she says. "There's eight of us in total but they're showcasing three characters, Obara, Nymeria, and Tyene.
"It will be very exciting to see women in Game of Thrones who work together because we haven't seen that yet, we've seen strong women but they're always either lone wolves like Arya Stark or Brienne of Tarth, or they're political leaders like Cersei Lannister or Daenerys Targaryen, so we meet these three women who are warriors, who work together and who have nothing to lose which is very dangerous."
Castle-Hughes has been experienced a recent career revivial, with roles on hit shows The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and a new comedy pilot, called Roadies.
Directed by Cameron Crowe, the hour-long series will also star Christina Hendricks and Luke Wilson.
