Fire ablaze in Morayfield

Seven fire crews are currently fighting to contain a fire burning near Grogan Road, Morayfield. 

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are conducting back burning operations to contain the blaze which broke out around midday today.

Smoke may affect the area and residents are advised to close windows and doors and keep medications close by if suffering from a respiratory condition. 

There is no threat to property at this time.

Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions as smoke can decrease visibility on the road.

Residents are advised to call Triple Zero (000) if their home comes under threat.
