Woman appears in court on murder charge

UPDATE: A 19-YEAR-OLD woman charged with murder has been remanded in custody.

Jessica Roebuck made no application for bail when she appeared Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Roebuck is charged with the murder of Mundubbera man Gary Ryan.

Police arrested and charged her on Wednesday.

She will face court in Brisbane on November 7.

EARLIER: A FIFTH person has been charged by police in relation to the alleged murder of Mundubbera man Gary Ryan.

A 19-year-old woman from Orange, NSW, was arrested in Nanango on Wednesday by detectives from Maryborough Criminal Investigation Branch and State Homicide Investigation Group.

She has been charged with one count of murder and is expected to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Orange man Mark Stephen Crump, Dubbo man Trevor Spencer, Orange woman Marilyn Ryan and Rockhampton man Stephen Peter Crump have also been charged with Mr Ryan's murder.

Gary Ryan died on August 23 after allegedly being stabbed multiple times.
