Far North Queensland too strong

FAR North Queensland demonstrated its strength at the Under 12 and 13 State Development Football Carnival in Gympie last week.

The week-long carnival came to a close Friday afternoon and Far North Queensland won both the Under 12 and 13 sections of the hotly contested competition.

Wide Bay finished fourth in both age divisions.

 

Final results as follows:

Under 12: Far North Queensland (20), North Queensland (14), Central Queensland (12), Wide Bay (6) and South West Queensland (4).

Under 13: Far North Queensland (21), North Queensland (15), South West Queensland (11), Wide Bay (8) and Central Queensland (2).
