'Fake' voters ferried from 'poll to poll', says official

FAKE voters are being ferried from "poll site to poll site" in an America city.

The claim was made by a Democratic insider during a discussion recorded by an undercover journalist working for activist group Project Veritas.

Alan Schulkin, a Democratic commissioner on the New York City Board of Elections, said voter fraud was common in minority areas of New York, the New Zealand Herald reports.

"People don't realise certain neighbourhoods in particular, they bus people around to vote," Mr Schulkin says in the video.

"They put them in a bus and go poll site to poll site."

Mr Schulkin said an ID card program was contributing to the 'fraud'.

"That's (the ID card) in lieu of a driver's license, but you can use it for anything," he said.

"But they didn't vet people to see who they really are.

Anybody can go in there and say, 'I am Joe Smith, I want an ID card.' It's absurd.

"There is a lot of fraud. Not just voter fraud, all kinds of fraud." - ARM NEWSDESK
