THE foreshore at Tin Can Bay has had some major reinforcement recently, with Gympie Regional Council spending $300,000 strengthening the wall between Cod St and Oyster Pde.

Funding was allocated in the last financial year to carry out the work adjacent to Tom Impy Park, including a rock revetment wall for 200m south of the Cod St intersection, vegetation clearing and earthworks, rock armouring, kerb edging, a concrete beach access stair and reinstating park furniture, vegetation and pathway.
