Exciting news for Gympie soccer
YOU'LL have to be quick for the Football Gympie sign-ons this year.
There is only one sign-on day - on February 4 - at the soccer club house from 9am-2pm.
Plus, every player who pays their fees in full when they register will go into a raffle for a Coca Cola Push Bike. The winner will be drawn on March 1.
At the sign-on, Red Bull will be promoting their Red Bull Neymar Juniors five-a-side football event.
Football Gympie will be hosting the qualifier games on April 8 - only the second time it has been conducted in Australia.
In addition to this, a new training program for the under-8 to U11 Boys and Girls will be introduced this season.
The weekly coaching sessions will run for six to eight weeks, culminating in a carnival against the Wide Bay centres. The cost will be $30 per participant.
The new season will start with a new president, Joel Albion on board.
Joel has come through the ranks from a junior to senior player.
He has a lot of knowledge of the games and running the association.
