Elderly passengers injured in mini-bus crash in border town

A NUMBER of people were treated at the scene and three taken to hospital after a mini bus with elderly people on board crashed last night.

Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of Brisbane and Herbert Sts in Goondiwindi about 6.10pm Sunday.

An emergency services spokesman said there was a number of elderly passengers on board the bus when it crashed.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics assessed eight people at the scene before three were taken to Goondiwindi Hospital.

They were transported in stable conditions for treatment of minor injuries.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services was tasked to the incident and assisted Queensland Ambulance paramedics at the scene.
