Drug driver passes out after pulled over by police

A DRUG driver who passed out while being booked by police will front court in the New Year.

Police will allege the woman, 43, was "so affected by drugs she passed out" when officers intercepted her car earlier this month.

The woman required an ambulance which was called to the intercept scene on Undulla Creek Road at Tara at about 8.30pm on December 19.

She was taken to Tara Hospital for treatment where she was issued with a notice to appear in the Dalby Magistrates Court on January 30.

In an unrelated incident, Tara police were called to attend the Tara caravan park with reports people were creating a disturbance between December 18 and 19.

Two men, aged 29 and 43, both from Tara, were found to have been the cause of the disturbance.

The pair was given a $378 public nuisance fine over the incident.

The two incidents, while unrelated, are reminders over the festive and New Year holiday period to never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and to not create disturbances.
