Drug bust in the Mary Valley

POLICE conducted a series of raids on farms in the Mary Valley on Tuesday and netted more than 250 cannabis plants, 1.4kg of dried cannabis, hydroponic equipment and a firearm.
Police from the Imbil station and the Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad conducted the raids, and charged five men with 12 charges, including producing a dangerous drug, possessing a dangerous drug, possessing utensils and possessing an unregistered firearm.
The men, aged between 30 and 61 years, will appear in the Gympie Magistrates Court next month in relation to these charges.
