Driver to face court after crash

NO ONE was injured when a vehicle left the road near the Cooloola Coast on Tuesday night, the driver blowing more than four times the legal limit when breath tested.

Police said the man had been driving along Tin Can Bay Rd about 7.29pm and ran off the road near the Rainbow Beach turn off. There were two people in the Toyota Hilux at the time.

The driver, 29, was charged with alleged drink driving after registering 0.202% on the breathalyser and is due to appear in Gympie Magistrates Court at a later date.
