Don't be alarmed - it's just planned maintenance

THE traffic lights are out at the Mount Pleasant intersection near the Mount Pleasant Hotel due to planned power line maintenance today.

An Energex spokesman said the maintenance at the intersection where Mount Pleasant Rd, River Rd, Hughes Tce and Graham St meet was planned for a Sunday because it would affect less traffic.

He said the lights will be working later today while traffic controllers direct traffic in the meantime.
