Dingo 'lies' part of policy

FRASER Island dingo advocates say the Queensland Government is lying about dingo numbers on Fraser Island and that its information supports a pre-arranged policy which is wiping them out.

Save the Fraser Island Dingoes secretary Karin Kilpatrick says government claims that there are 231 tagged dingoes on Fraser Island are based on figures that go back several years, during which time many of them have been killed or starved. “We have experts saying juveniles are mating because of the lack of adult males and that there are not that many left,” she said.
