Home gutted by fire labelled as 'suspicious' by police
UPDATE 4.15PM: Queensland Police have confirmed that they are investigating the causes into this morning's fire at a home in Ningi.
Police have released a statement that says that occupants of the unit were awoken by a neighbour just after 7am, when smoke was spotted coming from the rear of the property.
All occupants were able to evacuate the unit, which has been gutted by the blaze.
Police have declared a crime scene with scientific officers assisting officers from the Caboolture Criminal Investigation Branch with their investigations.
EARLIER: A blaze has gutted a home in a gated community in Ningi, east of Caboolture, this morning.
Firefighters have been working to put out the fire at a home in Redondo St since they were called to the scene just before 7.30am.
Three crews arrived to find the home engulfed in fire.
