Devils support swells

GYMPIE Devils rugby league outfit will be backed by its biggest home crowd ever when it runs onto Albert Park this Saturday against Caloundra.

The match is part of Gympie Cooloola Rugby League’s Super Saturday of League and the Devils play last at 6.40pm under lights.

Devils coach John Greensill described the clash as “the biggest so far this season”.

“The timing for this couldn’t be more perfect,” he said. “Our biggest match and we’ve got a huge crowd.”

Fresh from defeat at the hands of Caboolture at the weekend, the Devils will be keen to make up for the disappointing performance.
