Delegates line up for Quota event

GYMPIE Quota Club members are busy organising the 47th district conference and 10th combined conference and training seminar to be held at the RSL Club on May 24-26.

As Gympie is part of the 34th District, a great response from 12 clubs from Gladstone to Nambour has sent at least 100 delegates to attend.

Gympie Quota club has been volunteering and fundraising in Gympie for 52 years for the local and worldwide communities.

Businesswoman Wanda Frey Joiner founded Quota International Inc in Buffalo, New York in 1919, and today hundreds of Quota Clubs exist in many countries with world headquarters in Washington DC.

The Gympie Quota club interacts with all three levels of Quota International in an effort to improve services to our communities at all levels and to enrich our lives as volunteers.

The Gympie Quota club was chartered on March 16, 1961, by businesswomen Hilda O'Brien, Beryl Carter and Betty Shepherd who have set the standard and direction the members of today always strive towards.
