Dagun growers go to market
AN INFO session for prospective growers will be held at the Dagun Station on Saturday from 1-3pm, where growers are invited to come along to discuss the finer points of preparing their produce for sale.
Topics include identifying what customers want, harvesting for best shelf life, how much is in a bunch and displaying for impact.
For more information contact Elaine Bradley on 5484 3749 or email email@example.com
The Dagun Growers Market will offer produce “from our gardens, for you and your garden” and will feature a huge range of Mary Valley fresh-picked homegrown produce, many grown without using artificial fertilisers or sprays.
A wide variety of plants will be available – native tubestock, herbs and food plants – as well as hot and cold refreshments, ice creams, frozen fruit crush and more.
Excite your palate with wine and cheese tastings and sales will be in the Old Goods Shed.
The markets will be held every Saturday from May 28 from 2-5pm and coincide with the Valley Rattler steam train visit.
