Crimestoppers is coming to Neighbourhood watch

CRIME Stoppers is a valuable source you can ring when reporting suspicious and/or criminal activities near you.

Because people don't have to give their name when reporting to Crime Stoppers, it encourages hundreds of calls to be directed through their resources and this helps to combat crime.

A Crime Stoppers representative will be present at the June 2 meeting of the Rifle Range Neighbourhood Watch bi-monthly meeting.

It will be held in Room F3 (near the library) at the Gympie State High School commencing at 7.30pm.The meeting is open to the community and questions will be answered.

The Neighbourhood watch group is also interested in the community knowing they have "engravers" to loan out.

Once an article is engraved with your details it helps the police return any items seized during a crime investigation.

Also for anyone who still has an engraver belonging to the group its return will allow it to be given maintenance.
