Crews rush to scene of crash at Goomboorian

A VEHICLE ended up on its side and another with a caved-in front end after an early-morning crash on Tin Can Bay Rd yesterday morning.

But despite the extensive damage done to the sedan and truck involved in the two-vehicle crash at Goomboorian, nobody was injured seriously.

Police, firies and paramedics attended the crash which happened before 7am yesterday.

Gympie police said it appeared that one car had rear-ended the other near a left-hand turn on the road.

It is believed both cars were towed from the scene.

It is unknown how many people were in each of the vehicles involved, however police said nobody was taken to hospital.
