Heat hunt for second victory

COOLOOLA Heat Hockey players are ready to tackle Granville away today, hunting for a second victory in a row.

Coach Ben Fitzpatrick said he hoped the side would be able to further improve on its winning form last week.

Shaping up to Brothers, the Heat was on fire in carrying out a 3-nil demolition.

From the very first minute, the side worked well together, using effective communication and making the best of its opportunities on the field.

Solid attack and defence were two key components to the victory.

Fitzpatrick was pleased with how his players performed in the game, ridding themselves of a difficult couple of matches that were within grasp only to slip through their fingers at the last moment.

Missing in action today is Nathan Stephens, who was hospitalised during the week.
