Coast women spotted doing 'doughnuts' with kids

POLICE have charged two women after they were allegedly spotted doing 'doughnuts' around a popular Coast sports field with two small kids in the car.

A 20-year-old Nambour woman and a 19-year-old Kings Beach woman took turns driving dangerously around the grassed car-park area at Sunshine Coast Stadium, after the Nitro Circus show that had taken place earlier in the evening.

Police allege that two one-year-old children were also seated in the car.

Police received information that a blue mazda was spotted driving dangerously at about 6.45pm on Saturday, within metres of both adults and children.

The two woman have been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

No one was hurt, but police are urging anyone that saw or recorded the incident to get in touch.

They are due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on June 7.
