Coast man taken to hospital with burns to face, body

A MAN in his 50s has received burns to his upper body and superficial burns to his face after a suspected fire pit explosion at a Moy Pocket home.

Paramedics were called to the home at 6.10pm and assessed the man on the scene for his injuries.

He has been transported in a stable condition to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
