Chopper stood down following Bruce Hwy crash north of Gympie
ONE person is reportedly being treated at the scene following a single a car crash on the Bruce Highway north of Gympie.
The crash happened about 4.50pm on the Bruce Highway at Gunalda near Balkin St.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said all people were out of the car when emergency crews arrived.
One patient is being treated at the scene, and an Queensland Ambulance Spokeswoman said they may have suffered a "medical episode”.
The RACQ Lifeflight chopper was initially called but has since been stood down.
They are in a stable condition, and it is understood they are being taken to hospital.
