Child hospitalised after car, pedestrian crash at Bay

A CHILD was taken to Gympie Hospital after a car crashed into a pedestrian at Tin Can Bay earlier this afternoon.

Queensland Ambulance confirmed via Twitter that paramedics transported a child patient to Gympie Hospital following the crash, reported at 1.32pm.

The child's condition remains unknown.
