Chamberlain blames govt

DINGO advocates have welcomed claims by Lindy Chamberlain that government policies were to blame for the dingo behaviour that led to the death of her daughter Azaria.

Mrs Chamberlain-Creighton told the ABC current affairs program AM yesterday morning that Azaria's death had followed Northern Territory government decrees that rangers were to stop feeding the dingoes.

Her statement backed the stance of Fraser Island dingo advocates, who said management policies must be changed.
