CBD cafe theft
GYMPIE police are investigating two break-ins in Gympie’s CBD overnight on Thursday.
A thief has smashed the rear kitchen windows at Mary St’s Sunshine on Mary and crawled through to gain access to the cash box.
Yesterday the shop was closed, but the cafe will re-open today.
An offender also gained entry to Jeffco on River Rd.
A small sum of money was stolen from both businesses.
Police are investigating.
