Car dealership reveals its social conscience

PACIFIC Hyundai is keeping an interest in the community after donating $5200 to Little Haven Palliative Care.

The much-needed financial injection was handed over by Pacific Hyundai principal Paul Reeman recently.

Accepting the generous donation was Little Haven registered nurse Carolyn Mandersloot.

Little Haven Palliative Care will put the funds to good use, helping the not-for-profit organisation continue its provision of services to those in need of palliative care.

The organisation provides around-the-clock nursing services seven-days-a-week, helping those in need of palliative care receive their wish to pass away at home surrounded by loved ones.

Little Haven plans to use the donation to continue providing equipment and supplies to patients in addition to paying nurses working for the organisation.

Patients accessing Little Haven's specialised services do so free of charge.
