Caitlyn turns it on to thank fans
TAKE a bow, Caitlyn Shadbolt. You deserve it.
Gympie's X Factor sensation is staging a free concert tomorrow in Nelson Reserve to celebrate her success on the singing show and to thank her fans.
The singer knows her exciting run on the show, which saw her finish in the top five contestants, was spearheaded by solid support back home.
And don't be shy, Gympie. Caitlyn wants the biggest crowd possible.
"I'm so excited to be able to say 'thanks' to everyone back home who supported me," Caitlyn said.
The free concert is under way from 1pm, featuring a packed schedule to keep everyone in the mood for a good time.
Caitlyn will perform a set list comprised of songs from her live performances on X Factor.
Following her time on stage, the singer will then hold a signing session to have the one-on-one time with fans she has been eager to have.
Merchanise will be available for purchase and Caitlyn has a few black markers good to go for a signing session.
Mum Helen Shadbolt, by virtue of her employment with Murray Views, has been in charge of the merchandise, so expect plenty from which to choose.
The weather forecase for tomorrow's big celebration includes a possibility for storms in the afternoon, but Caitlyn wanted fans to know plans were in place should the skies darken and the weather turn ugly. Proceedings will move to The Pavilion on Gympie's Southside if needed.
Nelson Reserve is at Monkland St and River Rd.
