Businesses urged to nominate for awards

GYMPIE region's businesses and residents are being urged to get in early this year to nominate top local small and medium businesses for Queensland's most prestigious business awards.

The Telstra Queensland Business Awards are a good opportunity to showcase and celebrate the calibre and achievements of local businesses and to share their experiences with others.

Entries will open on February 11. Nominations can be made at telstrabusinessawards.com or 1800AWARDS until April 4.

The five award categories are for start-up, micro, small, medium and regional businesses.

All entrants receive a free 70-page Business Health Check report, based on international benchmarking standards.
