Bucking bulls toss riders

DOZENS of fearless cowboys geared up on Saturday afternoon in preparation for the Gympie Show annual rodeo.

Spectators were in awe as the huge bulls bucked and tossed the riders when they attempted to stay on for the daunting eight-seconds of danger.

The bone crunching falls and death-defying escapes were all part of the entertaining event which took place at the Gympie Show's centre ring.

The excitement included barrel racing, rope and tie and team roping.
