Bruce Hwy night works to resume at Cooroy

NIGHT works will resume on the Bruce Hwy near Cooroy from tomorrow, Gympie's Wide Bay MP Warren Truss said yesterday.

"Construction between the Bagnalls Rd overpass and Elm St will take place for about five nights, between 8-5am," he said.

"Local residents may notice some noise and lighting during the works, however construction staff will endeavour to minimise any disruption by finishing the work as quickly as possible.

"Reduced speeds, traffic control and signage may be used during construction.

"Drivers may need to add some extra time to their journey in case of delays," Mr Truss said.

The works are joint-funded by the Federal and State Governments, as part of the Cooroy-to-Curra four-lane upgrade of the Bruce Highway.
