UPDATE: Highway reopens after crash near Tiaro

UPDATE: The Bruce Highway has reopened after an incident involving a car and a trailer on Sunday.

Emergency services attended the scene of the crash, which involved a car towing a trailer and another vehicle.

Crews worked to clear the scene of the crash, which happened about 11.24am.

One woman was injured in the crash and taken to Hervey Bay Hospital.

EARLIER: The Bruce Highway is blocked south of Tiaro after a single-vehicle crash on Sunday.

The highway is expected to be closed for a short time as debris is cleared from the scene.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the scene if possible.

A spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said one woman had been transported to Hervey Bay Hospital with minor injuries after the crash, which happened about 11.24am.
