UPDATE: Man taken to hospital with head injuries after crash

UPDATE, 9.30PM: A man is being treated at Hervey Bay Hospital after a single-vehicle crash in Netherby on Monday night.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance Media said the man suffered head injuries in the crash, which happened about 7.20pm.

The crash happened on the corner of Netherby Rd and Deborah Rd.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Police Media said there was two people in the vehicle when the crash happened and it appeared the man may have been trapped in the car before emergency service crews arrived at the scene.

EARLIER: A car has crashed into a tree on Netherby Rd in Netherby, about half an hour away from Maryborough.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance Media said paramedics were on their way to the scene.

The crash happened about 7.20pm on Monday.
