BREAKING: Car accident starts grass fire at Carters Ridge

Gympie Police are on the scene of a car accident that started a fire at Carters Ridge this afternoon.
Police are currently questioning the driver of a Toyota Landcruiser that crashed off Gilliland Rd before catching fire.
Three rural fire brigade units contained the blaze before it spread into nearby properties but could not save the vehicle.
An ambulance was at the scene checking the driver.
