Breakfast service recognised

VICTORY College students from Years 9 to 12 were presented with certificates of appreciation from Mayor Ron Dyne in recognition of their service at the Mayoral Prayer Breakfast.

All meals were served, “Quickly, quietly and with a smile” as this was the motto adopted by the students for the morning.

Breakfast co-ordinator Jill Crampton told the students they had accomplished the fastest service and clean up so far “and it was done impeccably.”

It was a very busy morning for the students as they had to be at The Pavilion before 6am to receive instructions and to enjoy a Hungry Jacks breakfast before the service began.

Dignitaries and many members of the public acknowledged how responsible the students were and how well they served the community.

Victory College is proud of its students and how they are upholding the 2011 motto of “Honour, Service and Excellence.”
