Beef baron’s grandson in surprise mayoral race nomination

The grandson of Rockhampton's beef baron Sir Graham McCamley, Remy McCamley, is taking a shot at mayor.

Mr McCamley, 32, tendered his nomination for the role this morning.

He graduated from a Bachelor of Laws from CQUniversity Rockhampton in 2019.

There are now 15 official nominations for the mayoral vacancy.
