Beautiful shots in new calendar

THE year is almost up and you can bet planning for the New Year is underway for many clubs – to keep on top of it all The Gympie Times is developing a new calendar that will help you to get to all the important events planned for next year.

Photographer Craig Warhurst has been busy taking all new photos from around the region for the scenic glossy calendar.

Some spectacular shots of the best from around the Gympie region including Rainbow Beach and the Mary Valley will be included.

And the cost for the calendar is free; it will be inserted into The Gympie Times on December 17.

The Gympie Times’ Michelle Agnew is organising The Gympie Regional calendar again this year, as she did for the last one two years ago.

But this time she is opening it up to the community to add their important reminders and dates.

“For a small price ($44) clubs and organisations can have a date claimer inserted,” she said.

“I think it’s the best opportunity for locals to find out what’s happening regionally and for locals to promote directly to locals.”

It is especially beneficial to those organisations that don’t have a lot of advertising bucks, she said.

There will be 28 pages in the calendar and advertising opportunities close in the next few months.

Date claimers are open to anybody who has something they want the community to know about.

Contact Michelle on 5480 4228 for more information, if you want your event publicised or to book advertising.
