Author shares a few tricks with students

AUTHOR and illustrator Peter Carnavas spent two days with some of his greatest fans at Theebine State School recently.

Principal Jo McCormick said all of the students developed a picture book using the "tricks" Peter incorporated into his books.

"We learnt about stronger verbs, using a storyboard to construct the picture book and how illustrations also help to tell the story," she said.

"Peter loved our beautiful school and was very impressed with our local Cherax Park Redclaw Farm and Miva's Dickabram Bridge."
