Aussie Stingers roll NZ to continue Water Polo win streak

THE Australian women's water polo team, the Aussie Stingers, beat New Zealand 10-5 to continue its undefeated run at the FINA World League qualifying tournament in Auckland.

Victorian Rowie Webster top-scored with four goals as the London Olympic bronze medallists made it three from three having already beaten China (15-13), and Japan (10-2).

The top-two teams from the four-team event will qualify for the World Championship in Barcelona in July. The Aussies played China again overnight in the first game of the second round in the six-game tournament.
