Aussie Santa at Pie Creek
THE Pie Creek Hall Christmas party was a resounding success with the arrival of Santa causing much excitement among the many children present.
More than 100 people enjoyed a barbecue dinner last Saturday with music provided by local performers and the drawing of multiple raffles.
Santa presented all children with lollies and a gift.
One lucky person won a $20 fuel voucher from the Monkland Store in the membership draw.
The comfortable environment created by the recent installation of fans in the Pie Creek Hall was appreciated by everyone.
The Hall Committee thanks locals for supporting the event. It is hoped similar functions can be held during the year. Inquiries about hall hire can be made by emailing piecreekhall@gmail.com.
