Attempted murder charge after man struck by car

A 31-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after a 34-year-old man was struck by a car in Inala last night.

Police were called to a residence in Saigon Place around 11.20pm following reports that a man had been hit by a car.

It will be alleged that the man was deliberately struck by a vehicle while standing at the front of the house in the driveway.

The man suffered leg injuries and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

A woman has been charged with one count of attempted murder, dangerous operation of a vehicle and wilful damage, and is due to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court tomorrow, September 14.

The man and woman were known to each other.
