Armed men in ski masks terrorise home occupants

MACKAY detectives are investigating after two armed men wearing ski masks broke into a North Mackay home early Saturday morning, threatening the occupants before fleeing with cash and property.

The three occupants of the home, two 21-year-old men and a 22-year-old woman, were woken by two men armed about 2am.

The men were armed a hammer, knife and baseball.

Property, including money, computer games and portable computer tablets, were stolen.

No-one was injured and police investigations are continuing.
