Hunt continues for men who held up hotel at knife-point

UPDATE 5.55AM: Police are still looking for the two suspects who held up the Brunswick Hotel with a knife last night. 

It's believed the armed man is in his late 20s to 30s, described as being approximately 180cm tall with a slim build wearing a dark hoodie covering his head and long track pants.

Police are still investigating the incident.

UPDATE 12AM: Police are searching for two men suspected of holding up the bottle shop at the Brunswick Hotel this evening. 

The first suspect is described as 180cm tall, wearing dark track pants and a dark hoodie and may be armed with a knife 10 to 15cm long. 

The second is also wearing a dark hoodie. 

It is understood the offenders did not escape with any money. 

UPDATE, 10.10pm: Police are still hunting for the armed men who held up a Rockhampton hotel bottle shop.

Both men are described as about 180cm tall, slim build, wearing black hoodies and carrying knives.

Police are interviewing witnesses at the bottle shop where merchandise appears to have been knocked over.

Officers  are searching a number of streets including Archer and Murray.

A pair of track pants has been located that may belong to a suspect..

BREAKING, 9.30pm: Police are hunting two men following an armed hold-up at the Brunswick Hotel.

It's believed both men were carrying knives when they held up the hotel's bottle shop about 9.20pm.

Police units have converged on the area. 

Initial reports indicate  the men were wearing hoodies and were last seen running towards Murray Lane.

The dog squad is on scene.

There are no reports of any injuries.
